Zog Welinski's Day Off
Born blah Kraftwerk blah Glockenspiel blah Space 1999 blah Creme Soda Flavoured Cresta blah Dr Who blah 10cc blah and then Casio brought out the VL-1
In the late 80's ZWDO started mucking around with cheap synths, drum machines and dodgy cassette 4-tracks. These were dark
times indeed. But things were looking up.
The early music/performance/therapy collective 'Dr. Strobe and the Mind Criminals' (over here)
gave way to solo efforts, 'Caldera Rose' and 'Photino Birds'. In the mid 90s, new technology lead to a new phase of music projects
and Zog Welinski's Day Off was born. In 2003, ZWDO was adopted by Birmingham's Earthrid Records and
brought out the CD 'First Day Off' later that year. ZWDO also started gigging and stuff.
2007 saw ZWDO chucked off of Earthrid Records for bad behaviour, so the second album 'Archaea' will be unleashed as a web only release by the beginning of July.
Updates will be forthcoming
